About
What’s a Brawl like?
Destroying bases, defusing rockets, taking cover behind HUGE barriers, navigating walls, eliminating enemies and securing objectives, how much more extreme could this Nerf Brawl get?
It’s not a one man army. It’s not a one girl army either. Grab your friends and work as a team to win the war. Will you hide? Attack? Or cover my back? With so many strategies to use, so many game modes, and so many barriers to attack from, the action is truly endless.
💰Be prepared for possible Shoot ‘n’ Loot game modes – ie. people can nab your blaster if you get shot down. So always bring an extra blaster which you’re okay with someone else using if you “die”.
Game modes and Parks change from week to week. A different battlefield each time. Don’t go back to the same park as last week. You need to head to the calendar and press “view map” to see the specific location for that event.
Each city has it’s own day of the week – refer to the weekly schedule. Always see the calendar
You must RSVP to attend, so we can plan for the group size. You’ll also get notified of last minute changes to the event. If the form has disappeared it means spots are full. To RSVP your spot, simply enter your phone number to receive SMS event alerts, and your full name.
If there’s heavy rain, the event will be cancelled. Only those who RSVP’d will be notified by text. We will make the decision 2 hours before the start time of the event, and a text will go out to the rsvp list, to either confirm or cancel the event.
All players need to do the online waiver before coming to any events for the first time – it is once per lifetime.
If you need to cancel your RSVP, text or email us, no questions asked.
Event types:
We have 3 event types: All-ages, Youth/Adult, and Max FPS. All-Ages Wars are kid friendly, with the minimum age being 7 years and up. Youth/Adult and Max FPS Wars are high intensity, so the minimum age to play is 13. These events are adult & teen friendly.
Which ones are noob friendly? All 3 of them are. Each event is suitable for players of all skill levels, and our community is friendly, helpful, and welcoming to beginners.
Max FPS is for extreme nerf enthusiasts – high-end, high powered guns, namely in the 150-250 feet per second muzzle velocity range of nerf sniper rifles.
If you’re entering a Youth/Adult War we recommend buying Rival Type guns. The muzzle velocity of this gun type is perfect for high intensity gameplay, and they are cheap and easy to modify if you want to upgrade them.
Wal-Mart is a great place to buy guns and safety glasses
All players must bring eye-protection.
Cash only at the event start. We don’t have change. Mobile credit card reader has been discontinued due to repeat software issues. Due to weather, we don’t accept prepayments.

—————————————–
Being Canadian means we love to play outside and embrace everything it has to offer – the cold, heat, sun, wind, rain, and snow. Inside, it’s all stuffy, cramped, gross, the light is artificial and the air polluted with exhaled air. Plus all you need is that one person to have the flu and now almost everyone else has it. Yuck.
So get your boots, jackets, gloves, sunglasses, umbrellas, raingear, snow gear, or if it’s summer, shorts, t-shirts whatever it is, start jumping in puddles, get all mucky, and let’s go OUTSIDE!!
Canada TOUGH 👊🍁
We got darts, balls and stefans. Stefans are only for youth/adult and max fps wars.
All ammo is squishy, not hard, doesn’t hurt.
No megas vortex discs ultras or anything else other than the above two types.
Don’t show up expecting just some leisurely walking and shooting.
The game modes we construct are actually pretty intense, comparable to a soccer match. You will sweat. A lot. But it’s a ton of fun, unlike getting your exercise from a boring treadmill. But don’t worry if you think you’re not in shape, after showing up consistently you’ll be in really good shape in no time.
Gun & safety glasses.
Bringing multiple guns is recommended. They jam.
We might play Shoot & Loot game modes: These game modes will involve others nabbing your blaster if you get shot. Be prepared for this case.
You can bring all other sorts of battle gear. For example, we’ve seen people bring big homemade shields made from plastic garbage bin cuts, cafeteria trays, and cardboard boxes. we’ve seen people bring tac vests to hold mags for fast reloads.
Or, at the very least, have pockets to stuff ammo in.
NO.
Just shop glasses. Nothing fancy. Whatever it is, make sure it stays on your eyes while running, spinning and jumping, and that it is comfortable to wear the whole time because you should never EVER take them off.
Rival masks (or any kind of mask) are not recommended for anything other than Max FPS wars due to fogging. It will fog, and you will take it off which is forbidden.
Also due to fogging, full seal goggles are NOT recommended.
If you wish to Nerf Brawl wearing prescription glasses buy some side shields for them. Example here. Other options – prescription goggles, and goggles to fit over glasses.
Any eye protection not protecting the side of the eye is not allowed.
NO. They do not protect the side of your eye, plus they may fall off your face while running and spinning. Any eye protection not protecting the side of the eye is not allowed. You should get prescription goggles for sports.
Usually, as of now, no. Swords make it too easy.
Anything that is rigid when deployed, is a shield. Wearing a picnic cloth over yourself is not a shield.
You can hold or mount shields to your arms.
We encourage engineering your blasters. And home-mades. Just don’t paint it all black and real like.
We all play, we all make the mess, so we all clean it up, and stay until it’s done. Team cleanup is always the last 10-20min of the brawl, depending on how much mess there is.
Cash only, at the event start.
All-ages 7+ 100fps
Youth/Adult 13+ 150fps
Max FPS 13+ 250fps
Yes, rentals are available free at all ages and youth/adult events. These are meant as backup blasters in case yours breaks mid-game, and you should buy & own your own guns.
We have rental goggles for you if you forget your own at home. But please do not intend to just come and use them every time, and all players are expected to own their own gear
No. Bring your own mags and attachments. You MUST mark your name on your mags.
We’ll cancel if there’s heavy rain. Decision will be made no earlier than 2 hours before the start time of the event, because we found that weather forecasts are very error prone beyond that. An SMS will be sent to all RSVP’d players at that time.
